Emergent Extends LEAF Coalition Call for Proposal Window

Emergent today announced that it is extending the window for forest governments to submit proposal to supply emissions reductions and removals to the LEAF Coalition until 1st September 2025. 

The submissions period was originally due to close on 21st May 2025 but has been extended to give forest governments more time to submit. 

The call for proposals covers emissions reductions and removals for the core crediting period 2022 – 2026, with the potential to transact credits for later years. It also offers forest governments the opportunity to supply emissions reductions and removals credits with corresponding adjustments, allowing private sector buyers to use credits towards compliance schemes such as the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
